Heritage Hill Neighborhood
The Grand Rapids Alliance of Cooperative Communities has 3 cooperative communities located in the Heritage Hill neighborhood.

Heritage Hill Historic District neighborhood is pedestrian and bike-friendly with easy access to downtown Grand Rapids, shopping, nightlife, the farmer’s market, local coffee shops, and restaurants. It is also conveniently located near the Medical Mile, MSU College of Medicine, Grand Valley State University’s downtown campus, St. Mary’s Hospital, DeVos Children’s Hospital, Mary Free Bed, and Spectrum Downtown Hospital. The Heritage Hill Association oversees the neighborhood’s preservation and community togetherness efforts. 

James Russell House
The James Russell House was built in 1864 and is named after GRACC’s founder James Russell Jones. Historically known as the Hollister House, after Harvey J Hollister, a pioneer banker who purchased this homestead at the time when it was the only house on Fulton Street hill.

Sparrow House is a lovely Tudor style property, with four apartments and shared common areas including laundry room, front porch, yard and garage. The residents of all the apartments share the common areas yet have the privacy of their own apartments and bedrooms within them.
